Three Palms Vineyard Block 4
2019 Merlot
Calistoga
One of California’s legendary vineyards, Three Palms is revered for its history and benchmark wines. Duckhorn Vineyards has been producing a vineyard-designated Merlot from Three Palms Vineyard since our inaugural vintage in 1978. The 83-acre estate vineyard is located on the northeast side of the Napa Valley in Calistoga, on an alluvial fan created by the outwash of Selby Creek. The site is covered with volcanic stones washed down over the centuries from the canyon. The soil is rocky and well-drained, causing the vines to send their roots far, wide and deep to find the necessary nutrients and water. The depth, complexity and age-worthy structure of this unique block selection from Three Palms is sure to impress.
