Highlights

  • Your wine displays floral aromas with a touch of citrus
  • Balanced acidity with delicate oak integration and an elegant, bright finish
  • A luscious, full-bodied and complex wine with a vibrant mouthfeel
  • Aging for 15 months in a single, neutral 60-gallon French oak barrel

Description

Grapes for this 2019 Chardonnay were harvested in the cool, early morning hours and then fermented allowing the native yeasts to prevail. The wine spent 15 month aging in neutral French Oak barrels whereby it gained additional nuances and complexity. The 2019 growing season was characterized by a long, even ripening of the grapes which influenced the making of this full, complex chardonnay with concentrated aromas and flavors. This wine is delicious and quite food friendly, pairing wonderfully with a variety of foods especially fish such halibut or sole to lobster and also chicken, pasta dishes and grilled vegetables.
