Winemaker, Thomas Rivers Brown

One of the most sought after winemakers in the Napa Valley today, Thomas is known for his non-interventionalist winemaking style that allows the fruit to speak for itself. A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Thomas began his career in the Napa Valley in 1997. Self-taught, Thomas began making wine in 1999. As our consulting winemaker, Thomas guides the wine direction of our Round Pond Estate portfolio and collaborates closely with our estate winemaker John Wilson.

Winemaker, John  Wilson

John brings a wealth of experience through various
winemaking positions in Napa and Sonoma counties. A
graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, he has most
recently been the Winemaker at Vine Cliff Winery. He has
worked with Thomas Rivers Brown and held winemaking roles
at notable wineries including Thomas George Estates, Littorai
Wines in Sonoma and Rivers-Marie and Outpost Wines in
