Description

My family's roots in the California wine business date back to the days following Prohibition. We honor that heritage with this special wine from the Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon. This 300-acre parcel first purchased by Beaulieu Georges de Latour in 1928 and called Beaulieu Vineyard Number 3 was home to BV's Rutherford Cabernets made by the renowned winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff. This vineyard was purchased by Beckstoffer Vineyards in 1988 and today the grapes are produced using sustainable practices. Crafted by winemaker Tom Hinde, this Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 is aging 24 months in 100 percent new French oak, resulting in a highly complex and age-worthy wine.
