Description

J. McClelland Cellars 2017 Meritage Premiere Napa Valley Cuvée represents an individual selection from two unique vineyards and several specific barrel lots to offer a true expression of harmony from both hillside and valley floor sites. The combined virtues of Napa Valley’s northeastern hills and the true character of the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley have yielded a classic meritage blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that artfully expresses power and complexity with an overriding sense of grace. This one-of-a-kind wine stresses balance and structure with a harmonious level of richness that will continue its evolutionary path and reward cellaring for maximum enjoyment. With their philosophy of proper aging before release, Paul and Mitch aged this unique blend for 30 months in 100 percent French oak.
