We’ve had a long-standing relationship with Lee Vineyard dating back to the earliest days of our winery. Our intimate knowledge of this quintessential Los Carneros vineyard comes from decades of experience, and that familiarity played a key role in choosing the very best lots for your wine. Pommard and Swan clones of Pinot Noir, along with the added diversity of combining fruit from early and later pick dates, increased the complexity and depth. The result is a unique representation of the site, balancing elegant finesse with robust structure. Along with bright acidity and even tannins, your wine has a special balance of dark fruit, spice and earth and is a fine representation of the exceptionality that came out of Los Carneros in 2019. It was a vintage that was slow, steady, slightly cooler and very consistent after a late start.
