Description

Bella Union was founded by the partners of Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel, where for more than 30 years we have been growing, making and enjoying Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. We’ve combined the lessons learned in blending Far Niente’s Oakville estate vineyards with an intimate knowledge of the Napa Valley through our single-vineyard Cabernet at Nickel & Nickel, to produce a wine that brings together the best of our extensive experience. Our primary Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard is located along Bella Oaks Lane – hallowed ground for Napa Valley Cabernet. This western bench site offers an ideal combination of cool evenings and warm afternoons, which, in turn, allows the grapes to ripen fully and evenly. Blended with Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, this special lot has been aged in French oak from select coopers that enhance and harmonize the beautiful flavors.
