2017 Cabernet Sauvignon
Rutherford
Since 1900, Beaulieu Vineyard has crafted benchmark Cabernet Sauvignon, including the Napa Valley’s first Private Reserve wine, Georges de Latour Cabernet Sauvignon. Our winery was made famous through the wines of iconic winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff, whose legacy is carried on through our fifth winemaker, Trevor Durling. Selected from some of our most expressive blocks and fully barrel fermented, this wine is a tribute to Mr. Tchelistcheff, as it is anchored by fruit from the historic BV No. 1 and BV No. 2 – vineyards he first identified as the most exceptional in our Rutherford holdings. This wine exhibits immense concentration and structure while retaining simplicity and grace, and of course our trademark Rutherford Dust.
Winemaker, Beaulieu Vineyard
Beaulieu Vineyard winemaker Trevor Durling presides as only the fifth winemaker in the winery’s 120-year history. With a love of agriculture, science and cuisine, Trevor pursued his studies at the University of California Davis in the Viticulture and Enology program. As winemaker at Beaulieu Vineyard, Trevor incorporates his passion for creating fine wines, while preserving the heritage and legacy of Beaulieu Vineyard.
